10:8 fashioned me. Job’s testimony indicates his knowledge and belief in the record of Adam’s formation at the hand of God (Genesis 2:7).
10:9 bring me into dust. Job continues his reference to Adam’s creation, comparing it to his own, mentioning both their formation by God out of the dust and their eventual return to the dust (Genesis 3:19).
