Dr. Brian Thomas and Mr. Frank Sherwin will be featured speakers at the Yellowstone Valley Creation Conference sponsored by the Institute for Biblical Authority and held at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center in Billings, Montana. Did God create everything in six days or did He use evolution to create? What about dinosaurs? Did they co-exist with humans, or did they die out millions of years ago? Genesis provides the answers to these and other origins mysteries. Learn about the scientific evidence that supports the Bible at the Yellowstone Valley Creation Conference.

8:30 a.m. Mr. Frank Sherwin "Scientific Evidences for Creation" Critics regularly say, “Creation is either something you believe or don’t believe, but there’s no evidence for it.” The case for creation is rooted in what Paul teaches in Romans 1—that God’s work and attributes are “clearly seen.” Mr. Sherwin describes the tools needed to discern objects that have been made (created) vs. objects that form over time through chance and natural processes. He then provides convincing evidence for creation from the microscopic world (bacteria and molecular machines) and the macroscopic world (animals like the bat and woodpecker).
9:30 a.m. Break
9:45 a.m. Dr. Kevin Horton "Toxic Interpretations: Spiritual Consequences of Genesis Misinterpreted"
11:00 a.m. Dr. Brian Thomas "How Creatures Adapt" Charles Darwin’s ideas about how creatures change have influenced us in more than the actual ways that creatures change. Stunning animal adaptations reveal new hallmarks of handiwork.

1:30 p.m. M/C Welcome and Invitation to Glendive Dinosaur & Fossil Museum
1:45 p.m. Mr. Mike Oard "Startling Evidence that Noah’s Flood Really Happened: the Flooding Stage"
2:45 p.m. Break
3:00 p.m. Mr. Frank Sherwin "Hummingbirds by Design" Of all the birds of God’s creation, the hummingbird might be the most remarkable. Everything about these creatures shouts design. Their little hearts can beat more than 1,000 times a minute, while their wings beat from 50 to 80 times a second. Its specialized interaction with plants, visual color range, complex vocalization, and unique flight and physiological capabilities are a testament to God’s design.
4:00 p.m. Break
4:15 p.m. Dr. Brian Thomas "Dinosaur Proteins" Were red blood cells really discovered inside dinosaur bones? Are “fossilized” structures that look just like blood vessels, cells, and skin actually from the original creatures? Yes! Original organic materials show why rocks and fossils look thousands—not millions—of years old.

9:45 a.m. Mr. Frank Sherwin "The Rapid Biological Recovery of Mount St. Helens" ICR zoologist Mr. Frank Sherwin shares biological and ecological lessons from the 1980s eruptions of Mount St. Helens. Recovery by flora and fauna in the devastated area around the volcano was observed to have occurred very quickly. These observations have profound implications for understanding how Earth’s ecology would have been renewed after the global Flood recorded in Genesis.
11:00 a.m. Dr. Brian Thomas "Arches National Park: Sculptures of the Flood" Arches National Park in Utah protects some of the most spectacular natural sandstone arches on the planet. The latest research into what forms two unique sandstone features on display at Arches points back to the Bible in unexpected ways.

Dr. Thomas tells of the science that led him to change his mind on the earth’s age, where fossils came from, and how Genesis supports the gospel.
