John 15:18
15:18 it hated me. The world hated (and still hates) Christ because He “testified of it, that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7), and because “the whole world lieth in wickedness (or, ‘the wicked one’)” (I John 5:19). If we do the same, the world will hate us as well.
