"Non-Human Hominid" Right to Life

Great Britain and New Zealand have banned experimentation on certain groups of great apes. Now the Spanish government is considering granting them not only exemption from experimentation, but the rights to life and freedom. Can demands for human rights for other members of the animal kingdom be far behind?

Evolutionary advocates for animal rights base their arguments on concepts of justice and moral equivalency, but what is the basis for moral law in evolutionary naturalism? Read the entire article.

"Missing Link" Is Missing Some Parts

On the heels of other “missing link” stories comes an Associated Press report on a “365-million-year-old” fossil uncovered in Latvia. Ventastega curonica is supposedly “the most primitive four-legged creature in Earth’s history.” Evolutionists are excited because they believe it is an evolutionary link from fish to tetrapods.

However, like virtually all fossil discoveries, this one is incomplete—and an apparent “evolutionary dead-end.” Read the entire article.

Bacterial Clutch Denotes Design

The bacterial flagellum has amazed observers because of its intricate and minute design. It exhibits remarkable efficiency, construction, and function in the tiny cells where it serves as a motorized propeller.

Now further research of flagellar motor operation has revealed an even more specific and precise design than we were initially aware of. Read the entire article.

Did God Make Brain-Eating Amoebas?

Brain-eating amoebas caused six deaths last year, representing a spike in cases that concerns health officials. The young men who died had reportedly picked up the amoebas while swimming.

Many skeptics argue that a God who could make creatures that do this would not be the all-good God described in the Bible. So, where did these organisms come from? Read the entire article.

We Now Know...

The Hubble Space Telescope. Image credit: NASA.Evolutionists have often foisted conclusive pronouncements of new “knowledge” upon the public, only to retract them later with a “We now know…” kind of comment. For example, for decades the age of the earth was said to be 2 billion years, but “we now know” it is 4.5 billion.

Based on Hubble Space Telescope measurements, astrophysicists now claim to know the definite age of the universe. Read the entire article.

Dallas News Survey Pushes Evolution-Only Dogma

In the June 22, 2008, edition of the Dallas Morning News, columnist Steve Blow reported on a survey he sent to members of “a trusted science source.” He concluded, “If we want science taught in science classrooms, then only evolution belongs. All else is religion.”

What fallacies did he employ to reach this conclusion? Read the entire article.

Non-Identical "Identical Twin" Stars Defy Evolution

A 15-year investigation of a pair of stars near the Orion nebula has led to unexpected results. Evolutionists assume that such stars would have condensed from the same cloud of gas and dust, so they should be identical in every way. What the investigation revealed, however, was that “the twins exhibited significant differences in brightness, surface temperature and possibly size.”

Evolutionary models cannot account for the stars' differences, but there is a more direct explanation available. Read the entire article.

Report: 92 Percent of Americans Believe in God

A study released June 23, 2008, found that 92 percent of Americans believe in God, including about one in five who say they are atheists. The report by the Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion and Public Life is based on one of the largest polls ever conducted on Americans’ religious views, with more than 35,000 adults interviewed.

If religion and belief in God play such a vital role in Americans’ lives, why are they constantly inundated with atheistic-naturalistic, evolution-based science in the media, laboratories, and classrooms? Read the entire article.

Dinosaur Fossil Erases 40 Million Years

The standard story of the origin of Australia is that it separated from Antarctica 80 million years ago and became isolated from other land masses. But recently a 19cm forearm bone was found near Cape Otway, Australia, that looks just like one from the South American megaraptor!

How did a South American land-dwelling dinosaur get to Australia? This fossil discovery actually fits well with a biblical history. Read the entire article.

Evidently, Evolution Proves Evolution!

A recent report serves to demonstrate a commonly observed pattern among evolutionary authors: circular reasoning. It turns out that the arguments used to support evolution rest upon the assumption of their own truthfulness.

In describing recently published protein studies, the report states that “scientists know” certain antibodies were present 160 million years ago. How do they know this? Read the entire article.
