Dr. Jake Hebert will present "Global Warming and the Christian" in Discipleship University at the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. Many are concerned that higher amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide will result in catastrophic global warming. However, climate panic is often tied to an unbiblical worldview. Secular scientists deny the Genesis Flood, which is the greatest climate change event in history. Moreover, God promised us a relatively stable climate in the post-Flood world (Genesis 8:22). Dr. Hebert will provide five reasons why Christians should not be panicking over the global warming issue. This will be part of the Evidence for Biblical Accuracy series, which will provide scientific evidence that affirms the Bible's accuracy and authority.
