70:1 make haste. The five verses of this psalm are practically identical to the last five verses of Psalm 40. Psalm 40 was a Messianic psalm and so is Psalm 70. Perhaps David was led to tie them both together in this way to emphasize their anticipation of the suffering Messiah.
