Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
 

139:23 know my thoughts. The psalmist David prayed (and so should we) that God would discover and remove any “wicked way” even in his thought-life.
