Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
 

28:2 due season. In chapters 28 and 29 Moses reminded the people, just before Joshua was to take over and lead them into Canaan, that it was important to observe the offerings and feasts in their set time. He reviewed some of them in particular, in token of all of them.
