Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.
 

37:5 Pharaoh’s army. The Egyptians started an abortive invasion of southern Israel, which caused the Babylonians to lift the siege of Judah for a time. This was temporary, however, and the Babylonians soon returned.
