If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
 

31:36 If those ordinances depart. The sun, moon and stars have been created to last forever (Psalm 148:3-6, etc.), and so will the nation Israel.
