And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
 

4:5 every dwelling place. In the promised kingdom age, each family among the redeemed in Israel will enjoy the same totality of divine protection as did the Israelites in the wilderness during the forming days of the nation (note Exodus 14:19-20; Numbers 9:15-16).
