And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
 

24:22 after many days. “After many days,” the period of confinement in the great prison pit, probably is the “thousand years” of the kingdom age (Revelation 20:3,7).
