And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young ° bullock for a sin offering.
 

43:19 seed of Zadok. Of all the descendants of Aaron, the family of Zadok had been chosen to carry on the priesthood after the failures of Eli and Abiathar (I Samuel 2:27-34; I Kings 2:25-27,35). Note also Ezekiel 40:46; 44:15-16.
