9:10 the finger of God. The fact that the ten commandments were written on stone by God Himself is stressed no less than seven times (Exodus 31:18; 32:15; 34:1; 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13; 9:10; 10:4). This is an indication of the importance placed by God on these stone-inscribed words.
